Had a great stay at the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel. The hotel is in a lovely location, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to get away from it all. The hotel has a lot to offer, with the swimming pool, and leisure facilities being a great bonus.
It's also ideally located for exploring Pitlochry and the surrounding area. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing break, and I would happily recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting. Would definitely consider coming back again.

The location was good.
We did not like the attitude of the man on the reception we booked the hotel as it stated it allowed dogs, however when we got to the reception the man on the reception stated that we should have informed them about bringing a dog and that we had to pay £20 extra. I stated that we had only booked the hotel because it excepted dogs and that it did not say we had to inform the hotel or pay extra, he said that it does state it on the page. He was so rude, and his attitude was unacceptable 😤. I explained to him that I had rung the hotel before I booked to check that they did take dogs, and had been told they did and there was no mention of informing them or having to pay extra. We had been driving for 6 hours and were tied and did not expect to be spoken to like this. UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
