Wonderful, clean and cosy.
Kettle in the bedrooms and complimentary tea & coffee would be nice, considering the price point.

This place is super great value, and has a very friendly, homey atmosphere. The place was super nice, the staff was very helpful and the place makes it easy to socialize and meet other travelers. It’s also very close to pretty much all of Golden Circle, meaning that it is a great place to rest afterwards. Highly, highly recommend this place.
Some of the shared bathrooms were a little sketchy and I think I saw mold. This is my only real complaint. Also beware, the doors lock behind you so always have your key on you at all times. I got locked out at one point.

The guesthouse has a lovely, heritage feeling, including vintage decorations and photographs from past incarnations. Our room was upstairs on the end and was quiet. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. We stayed two nights and found it to be a perfect location to enable exploring the Golden Circle early and before the tour buses!
The shared bathrooms were a little too much like boarding school for us. Fewer shower curtains and more doors and towel/clothes hooks would be great.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable, and the location was very convenient for exploring the area. The guesthouse has a lovely atmosphere and plenty of character. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our stay, which made the whole experience even more special and memorable.
Nothing in particular – we had a very pleasant stay.
