Good sized traditional bedroom in a Victorian Villa. Chairs, table and large comfy bed. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Convenient for Dumfries centre with its restaurants. Greeted by friendly owner who showed us around. Low cost but supplied everything we needed. Excellent value for money. Good choice for breakfast, you choose the cooked items the night before.

Lovely quiet location. I felt like I was staying in a small village rather than Dumfries town, but everything was also within walking distance. The room was nice and cosy and the owner was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very nice and there were different options e.g. cooked, vegetarian cooked, croissants, poached eggs etc. I was allowed to use the breakfast room to do some online work. Good location for buses and trains from Dumfries station just a few minutes walk away. I would stay again if I needed to go to Dumfries.
