Hotel California

The hotel is in a great location, central to most things and close to good places to eat. The staff were friendly and committed to helping out where they could.

A good hotel in the Gothic Quarter. The rooms are basic but clean, have comfortable beds and good facilities. Towels were changed daily. There are toiletries in the room, a nice bathrobe and slipper, an electric kettle, coffee, tea, water. The room had a good air conditioner, but I liked the fact that it also had proper windows both in the room and the bathroom. The staff is truly lovely, helpful and kind. The breakfast is served starting at 7:30. Since I always had breakfast at this time, the restaurant was silent, peaceful and there was plenty of food to choose from. They had a good coffee machine in the restaurant. The entrance is located 5 m from a highly circulated street. The advantage is that everything is close, but the disadvantage is the noise during the night. However, with closed windows it is manageable (if you can sleep with the air conditioner on).
