This is my second time at the hotel. It’s clean, modern, the staff are welcoming, polite and brightened up my day. The location is perfect, not far from the centre, bus and train station. Breakfast is amazing too, lots of choice. This is my go-to hotel when I’m next in the area.
No issues whatsoever.

The breakfast was amazing.
The hotel is very central and good walking distance to where we wanted to go.

The location was close to train and bus stations, and to art galleries. Reasonably priced compared to similar hotels in Bergen.
Despite having prepaid I was made to register my credit card which I find unacceptable. This did not happen at any other of the hotels wee stayed in in Norway. On arrival quite a queue at reception which was slow as staffed by only a single person. So after a long journey this was not the welcome we had hoped for. Industrial action meant no dining options and no forewarning about this. We were also given a disabled room without any comment about this.
The plug for the kettle in the room was well away from where the kettle was located and in a very awkward position.
