Great starting point for hiking trips around the valley. The lower terminus of the cable car is a bit too far away to walk there in ski boots, but since there is a parking, the trip is easily done by car. Grocer in walking distance. Tidy flat with interior design from a past era, but nonetheless functional (there is a dishwasher) and spacious. The kids room is well separated from the main bedroom. (Un)loading is easy since you are allowed to drive up right to the main entrance.
Pity that there is no terrace. You'd definitively want to embrace sunbeams and warmth outside, whenever possible in this narrow valley. We were not quite sure if the kids were fully welcome in the neighbourhood and in the house. When sent out to play outside, their noise led to street residents peeking out from their windows. And within the house, we tried to keep the volume down as well.

The hosts were generous, there was enough of everything in the kitchen and bathroom, living room and bedrooms. The village of Elm is beautiful and quiet, excellent for "detox" and as a starting point for excursions.
