The Sankara Resort & Spa

The pool villa was awesome however quite a walk from the lobby. Our pool was too cold to swim in as it didn’t get any direct sun so probably wouldn’t book that room again. Facilities were great. We enjoyed the morning yoga and morning walk activity that is provided and also the bbq dinner night with traditional dancing. Bed was really comfy. The location was more residential and away from central Ubud which was great but the traffic to get into town was insane.

We didn’t have any hot water for about 1.5 days and there was no shower gel in the bathroom though the other toiletries provided were lovely.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au Sankara Resort. Un hôtel magnifique, dans un cadre superbe. Le personnel est tout simplement parfait : souriant, accueillant, disponible et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Notre suite était magnifique, très propre, spacieuse et parfaitement entretenue. Un vrai plaisir de rentrer dans sa chambre après une journée de découverte de Bali. Mention spéciale également au restaurant, où nous avons très bien mangé : cuisine excellente et service impeccable. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe du Sankara Resort pour ce séjour exceptionnel. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! ❤️🌴

The whole experience of the hotel itself was very good. Also, the staff was super friendly. If I had any requests, they were always willing to help.

Comfortable and beautifully designed spacious rooms,.nice rice fields within the hotel grounds.

Behaviour of some of the staff, lots of trainees at the restaurant not understanding English and breakfast orders. No Yoga classes due to instructor sickness, very poor for a large company like Pramana not to have a replacement. Located in a busy little area away from town. Construction one side, the other a day club. And not informed us about their current constraction next door, no apology from the staff upon arrival. Very noisy around the pool due to this, not relaxing at all and disappointing. The Sankara certainly is not the usual Pramana standard as others. Shuttle service was good and nice spa.
