The room had a breathtaking view. The furniture and decor have a very charming feel, very fitting for the area.

The stairs take a little to get used to but it isn’t terrible. I picked Albergo California because it was one of the better locations as far as walking up, but also high enough to provide the spectacular views. Just make sure you get a porter to take up your luggage.

A superb location with sweeping sea views, high above the street. A quiet, civilized hotel, it has elegant rooms with windows opening to the sea far below. Don Giovanni, the hotel restaurant, serves excellent lunch and dinner. The delightful staff will assist with all manner of requests.

It depends where in Positano you want to stay. Hotel California is situated dead center for upscale hotels, restaurants, shopping and views. If you want a quieter neighborhood, a little up the hill, or a little to the east or west along the coast might be for you.

We LOVED this hotel so much. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We always appreciated seeing Bianca's happy face and greeting. The room size and closet was amazing, bathroom was large and shower was large, the air conditioning worked quite will, bed was comfy, housekeeping was great, we LOVED LOVED LOVED the balcony and the view. So many people came for the view to take pictures before their dinner at the hotel restaurant. The location is so great, not too far but not too close to everything. I would come back here 100 times I loved it so much. great breakfast. Felt very safe.

Nothing! we loved it so much
