Great location and sea view from balcony

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. The attached restaurant turned out to be my favourite restaurant in Kardamena. The location is excellent. Sound-proofing is also excellent, it might be noisy outside but you close the windows and hear absolutely nothing. The room stayed cool during the hottest hours of the day. I heard from other travellers that Kardamena often suffers from water outages, but we noticed absolutely nothing, I assume the place has a water tank. The room also seemed a bit narrow but it was still comfortable enough, everything was carefully placed so that it was not an issue in the end. Another useful thing is that the balcony was reachable from outside, so we'd come back from the beach, leave our wet and sandy stuff in the balcony, then walk in. Safety is not a concern though, Kos is a place where even bikes are usually left unlocked.

The shower is open from one side, so you need to shower carefully and then mop the floor using the mat. For us it was an extremely minor issue though.

The room was small. Ok for 1 but it would be cramped for 2. The room needs to be refurbished especially the bathroom and kitchenette area. The balcony / terrace was very tiny and no where to hang things to dry. The bed should have a mattress protector on it. When the bed sheet was lifted you could see the mattress had not been hoovered. Cleaning was only once, in the week of my stay. This meant that for 4 days the toilet bin was not emptied. For health and safety reasons this most certainly is not acceptable. There was no broom which could be used to sweep the floor to rid of sand etc. Being on ground level made the room susceptible to the noise. Opposite was a restaurant which opened at 7:30 am and closed 11pm this was noisy all the time. In my option the 2 studios should be knocked into one apartment or not used at all. Purely because of the security and comfort of the client.
