Hotel Nertili

We really liked the size of the room and the lovely view from the balcony. The bed was large and very comfortable, and having a safe in the room was convenient. The room was also well soundproofed, as we couldn’t hear our neighbours at all. The hotel has quick and easy access to the beach, with free sun loungers and towels provided. A particular highlight was Ulah Restaurant — the view is absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed eating there.

At check-in, we were asked to read the hotel rules. Most of them were completely standard, apart from one rather strange rule: no food is allowed in the rooms. We found this quite unusual for a hotel. The cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved. When we arrived, there was a long black hair frozen inside the fridge. There were also two drinking glasses in the room, but no drinking water at all — neither bottled water nor a carafe of water. We found this a little surprising for a hotel of this standard. We stayed for six nights and requested housekeeping once, around the third day. Unfortunately, the cleaning was very basic. The rubbish was removed from the bathroom, the towels were replaced, the bed was made without changing the bed linen, and the floor was quickly wiped. However, the mirror, tap and sink were still dirty, and my hair was still visible on the floor afterwards. The whole cleaning service took approximately ten minutes, and unfortunately the quality reflected this. Breakfast was tasty, but exactly the same selection was served every day, so it became quite repetitive during a six-night stay. Regarding the beach, we stayed from 14 September, when the hotel was already relatively quiet, so there was enough space for everyone. However, I imagine that during peak season the swimming area could feel very crowded. A large part of the water access is taken up by a designated area for jet skis, which leaves quite a limited space for swimming. If you prefer wide, spacious beaches with plenty of room to enter the sea and swim, this is something worth considering when choosing the hotel.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff the most, the breakfast buffet didn't disappoint, and the fresh towels for the beach were great!

Cost of the cocktails on the beach... We expected closer to 5 EUR not 9... Additionally, I wish there were more beach friendly food options. (you can order fries off menu though and they are delish!) Also, it is not a bad walk, but not as close as we thought, and every cab to anywhere costs 20EUR minimum

Sea view is beautiful. Sunsets from the bar area are glorious.
