Lovely choice for breakfast, booked the day before. The Farmhouse of 5 generations had been lovingly restored and was very clean, warm and in a wonderful situation. The coffee/tea making facility was good and included a fridge. The cookie jar was also welcome. A walk down to the lake through the meadow was a treat in the October evening sun. The hosts were very pleasant and happy to provide helpful restaurant recommendations for evening meals, within 10 mins of the house.
There was nothing to dislike.

This is an exceptional place to stay if you would like to experience the real Ireland outside of the cities. The views, the animals, the hospitality were top notch and we can’t speak highly enough of the experience. 90 mins from Dublin Airport, 30 mins from Glendalough and close to the rest of Wicklow.
Not that we are complaining but unless you want to travel 20 minutes for dinner, bring something with you- we bought delicious soup at Aldi of all places!
