Dream Bosphorus Hotel

Location was excellent. Breakfast was OK but needed some variations in options. Room was very small however we were offered an upgrade for 80 euro after the second night. View from the Seaview balcony rooms on floor 6 were magnificent. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much to ask.

Small initial room. There was also a bit of a nasty smell in the room from time to time, like dirty water or sewerage and a constant sound of running water.

This hotel was awesome, centrally located in old Istanbul, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small place, clean, on a quiet side street of the city. Within easy walking distance of all the sights of the city, I would highly recommend.

The hotel’s location was very convenient, with all the main tourist attractions nearby. We were able to walk to most of them. The staff was very friendly.

The room we received didn’t match the one we had booked. We had reserved a Superior Double Room, but upon arrival, we were given a choice between a room that looked like the photos (but with a Bosphorus view and a higher price) and an older room on the first floor. Since we didn’t want to pay extra, we chose the older room. It felt like a scam. The ceiling was low and the space was tight. The bathroom had a sliding door instead of a standard one due to the small space. Noise was also an issue. Guests in nearby rooms had children who were running around late in the evening, and there was noise from outside as well. In the mornings, we could clearly hear people talking beneath our window.
