Excellent location! Quiet. Lovely grounds - trees/lake etc and views of stars in dark. Cottage was lovely overall. Really big, especially the dining room and kitchen. Nice layout so some family in 2 rooms downstairs seating bathroom and others upstairs with ensuite. Upstairs bed was lovely and comfy. Easy to get key on arrival.

Not great to have to pay extra for electricity really but knew before arrival. Paid for WiFi- fair enough £5.50 for 3 days for 1 device - was needed as no signal on 3 different networks. I found it very difficult to get on it - have to go through PayPal then couldn't verify bank as no signal then eventually got a code through husbands paypal and it didn't work. I needed it to access meditation to sleep. Spoke to staff the next day and they were great and sorted it though. Downstairs beds were rock hard so only got 3 hrs sleep first night but once explained to staff they promptly helped and got me a topper which was slightly better. Nothing to do about this but be aware very narrow roads (single for 2 cars) on approach so was bit of scary drive for last 20min in dark especially.

Such a beautiful location, the scenery was glorious and it was incredibly peaceful. The cottage was tidy and well presented.

We were very fortunate with the weather during our stay but unfortunately this meant that the cottage was absolutely boiling and there were no fans throughout the entire property. Whilst the property was tidy and pleasant, we were inundated with spiders as there were cobwebs everywhere in every window/door of the property, which wasn’t ideal! We also noticed slight wear and tear with wobbly windowsills and a very noisy and leaky tap in the kitchen. Also didn’t expect the extra charges for WiFi and electricity, that could have been an oversight my end but I definitely don’t remember seeing that on the advertisement.
