lovely atmosphere, kind, friendly host, scrumptious breakfast with lots of choice, a quiet and relaxing place to return to after a day of hiking around the lakes.
Just one tiny recommendation : I would have liked to know in advance the policy/practice regarding towel refreshers, emptying waste baskets.etc. This is more important for a longer stay. All I had to do was request , and the host kindly responded, but I prefer to know in advance.

The property was very cosy and comfortable. Lovely and clean. A very welcoming atmosphere. Michael and Debbie are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be going back to blue stones

The rooms were very quiet, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for being near the town centre but also not right within the hustle and bustle. Michael cooks a great breakfast that prepares you for the hikes and rain of the Lake District. He is incredibly hospitable and helpful with local walking knowledge as well as topics such as classic cars!
