The stay was amazing. A calm and quiet site, with beautiful pool, wonderful helpful and fiendly staff.
A bit further from Rome then we expected at first. Keep an eye on the train schedule - this was the fastest way.

We stayed in the oldest part of the castle, so I can’t speak for all the rooms. The host was very nice and helpful, and there was plenty of parking. The views and grounds were lovely, and we could see Rome in the distance. However, be advised that although GPS estimates a 30–45 minute drive to FCO airport, I would recommend allowing extra time to be safe.
Our room was spacious. If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates history and ancient architecture, this place is for you! However, if you prefer modern accommodations with brand-new furnishings and fixtures, this may not be the place for you. It’s a matter of preference.

We stayed here because we didn't fancy being in a hotel in the centre of Rome in August. It's about a two minute drive to Settebagni station, (where there is plenty of free parking), and then it's about 15 minutes by train to Tiburtina station, where you can get onto the metro. The train itself goes all the way round Rome and out to Fiumicino airport, so that's an option too. So it's about 30 to 45 minutes to anywhere you might want to be in central Rome, plus you get the benefit of staying out of the madness of the city. The pool is amazing and has 360 degrees views of the countryside.
We had a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment, which was big and pretty much perfect for us. There are plenty of places to sit outside in garden to eat/have cocktails. If I had to be picky, I would say that pretty much the only thing that could have been improved would have been to have had another pot or pan, but that's the only thing I can think of. There are supermarkets nearby. Honestly, it's a lovely place if you want to see Rome, but not stay in Rome.

the Castle History and outside features and the sorounding the vicinity to the airport.
Our apartment was vey in convinient. it is sold as a 2 bedroom apartment but the second apartment is a gallery open with no privacy. the bathroom in the lower level is so small you can not even set a place for your beaty bag. small lttle soaps not even for a single person.
