I only stayed one night and it was nice, up on a hill in well kept garden. There was some noise next door which went down later. The mosquito net and fan worked well and there was warm water and a clean bathroom. Up a small but just drivable path it was OK to find. I thought all of Grenadas hotels/rooms were over priced. They do not take credit card though.

Only placeat just less that US$50 and pretty basic for that price

The host Ingrid was very hospitable, with great service, helpful, friendly, good listener, and cook. That woman can make an Oil down that will have you requesting seconds, and Muffins were very tasty. The Lodge is a natural retreat overlooking the sea with a lovely garden, lots of fruit trees, and flowers. The pool is long and deep at the far end, great for swimming. It was a chill spot at night to play music and enjoy nature.

Recommendation ●A mini fridge can be a plus when you need a cold drink in bed. ●A water pump because the water pressure fluctuates after multiple people shower.

I liked the beautiful property and its remote location. The meals prepared by Ingrid were delicious too. I appreciated the prompt refund when I decided to leave.

There was construction nearby and on the property and often raised voices as well. The noisy brush cutter by the dining room while eating was not pleasant while eating breakfast. As a writer, it was not an environment conducive to creative work. I noticed that there were Christmas decorations that had not been removed a few months after the season. My room was very hot, with only one fan. Some electrical work was needed while I was there to replace the bathroom light. I had the impression that the place was a bit rundown. Another guest created a disturbance for hours by talking on their phone with speaker enabled while on the shared porch with me Unfortunately, it was not the peaceful setting that I had imagined it to be. I never did meet Thomas, the owner in person.
