Our clean room was very spacious! The 3-floor building doesn’t have a courtyard but there are trees and bushes making it seem like a garden! The best feature is to be away from street noise. It was very serene and quiet. The breakfast was very good - a spongy rice/potato cake, eggs if you wanted, toast/butter/jam, fresh watermelon, dal and hot tea/coffee. Quite good. Front room had pretty cane furniture and a few small sculptures. Price of $45usd/night seemed pretty good.
The short alley it’s on seemed a little sketchy (run down?) but it really wasn’t…and it allowed the driver to get close to front door. I liked everything. Simple but not luxurious place. We only stayed one night after late night arrival and left early so I can’t really add anything about location.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Church Street and MG Road, while still feeling calm and comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. The property has a cozy boutique feel and was a great base for exploring central Bengaluru.

Everything was likeable and wonderfully kept. I genuinely enjoyed my stay/sanctuary and loved the vibe. It was peaceful, evocative and historic in its own quirky way.
I only felt that my sheets had not been properly washed. Luckily it was a double bed so I shifted to the other side, else everything was really well kept and cleaned.

Location
Good communication.
Our room was extremely dark. Ground floor. Didn’t like having to sit on a communal table with strangers at breakfast. Breakfast should have had a printed list of breakfast options.
