Location was great. Onsen just outside the building (next building 5 steps away). Easy semi self check in with a staff member helping with the check in machine.
Very basic facilities and room. Little aged look and feel but I got it at a very reasonable price so all good. Lighting in room was a little low.

Location near train station and canal and restaurants. Just a short walk to the Otaru Beer Restaurant.
The onsen was very good.
Staff very friendly and amenable.
