It was lovely and clean, good size with comfy bed.
Bathroom & living area good sizes and kitchen well equipped.
Milk left in fridge was a thoughtful touch
We did use the car, but this was an ideal base to walk & explore Cheddar Gorge
The shared entrance road leading to property had deep potholes. No reflection on property, but would be nice to get that sorted.
Extra photos on booking.com would help get more business, as we weren’t sure what to expect. (Very pleasantly surprised though)

The owners were amazing and helpful.
The location was perfect for us.
Safe place for our dogs and the lodge felt like home as soon as we walked in.
There was nothing not to like.

It’s everything you want and everything you need for a short stay in Cheddar. It’s cosy and large at the same time. Amanda and Paul were super welcoming. Close to Cheddar Gorge, walking distance to town and great location if you like hiking plus close to Wells, the UK’s smallest city
Nothing.
