The host gave us a very warm welcome and was always available throughout our stay.
The house is cosy, warm and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the surrounding area is extremely peaceful, with several animals nearby. We had a few encounters with them during our stay, which was great fun.
We also have to mention Dukes, a local artisan ice cream factory close to the house. The ice cream is delicious and definitely worth a visit.

Lovely welcome from our host. Warm and welcoming cottage with everything we needed and more. Beautifully presented with a homely feel. Very relaxing. Beautiful scenery. Wish we had stayed longer.

The hostess didn't mind working just outside the windows of the cottage, spraying what looked like herbicides. She was also not above looking into the bedroom window in the morning and waving. I was still in pajamas and very glad to have been wearing pajamas. More privacy would have been much appreciated.
