Lovely inn in eskdale. Dinner and breakfast was lovely, particularly my lamb stew. Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Was only a minute walk from eskdale mill which is much worth visiting! Also would recommend hiking to Stanley ghyll from here.

The Boot Inn is a little gem. It is quite remote but ideal for walking or cycling. Really good bar and food - book for evening meal as it is popular.
It is an old inn so rooms may appear a bit dated but it is clean and has everything needed.

A lovely stay. V comfortable and clean. Staff were v nice and the food for evening and breakfast was superb.
