Artja Inn Ubud

Although Alia is located right near the Royal Palace, in the middle of a very busy and crowded area, once you step onto the property, it feels like a completely different world—peaceful and quiet. I never got tired of sitting on the terrace of my room and enjoying the beautiful garden view. Listening to the birds singing and the gentle sound of the stream was so relaxing and peaceful. It felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the street outside. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and a great cup of coffee on the terrace. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed chatting with them. They also offer spa treatments, so I decided to have a massage. The massage was strong and very relaxing, especially considering the reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it. I would love to come back someday just to enjoy the beautiful garden again.

One small thing to note is that the shower and toilet are quite close together, so the toilet area became very wet after taking a shower.

Location is great! 2 blocks from Ubud Market. Ketut and his wife always take good care of me!! I've stayed here several times. Great breakfasts!

If you're unsteady on your feet, the steep stairs can be a little intimidating, but I haven't fallen yet. 😀

It’s a very cosy, modern and quiet place, with a great little garden. The couple owning the place is wonderful and do everything to make you feel at home! It’s situated in the very center of Ubud but yet so calm and peaceful. I would recommend this any day!

The only negative is the accessibility: there are some steps to go up and down to come to the property, but everything was well lit up during night so it’s not a problem.

The price

Hard beds, the sink was leaking our bathroom. There were stains on the bed.
