Al Yakhour Hostel

Great location near the train station. Transit line through the city has a stop just around the corner. Grocery store is 1 1/2 blocks away and a liquor store is just across the street. Great spot.

Nothing was there that did not fit my expections.

Feels like home, friendly staff, well maintained building.

The hostel is very clean and conveniently located. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Public transportation is directly in front of the hostel. The Bahai Gardens is down at the end of the street and a European style supermarket is only a 12 minute walk. Wadi Nisnas, the famously charming Arab neighborhood, is just steps away. The port is also an easy walk for guests who want to take the boat to Akko. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. The neighborhood is good. The owner, Tamer, is a caring host with very good communication skills. It’s a nice place to stay. Highly recommended.

Everything was good.

The common areas downstairs are great!

We stayed in the three-bed room. The top bank bed is so close to the ceiling that it felt suffocating and ended up putting the mattress on the floor.
