ClinkNOORD Hostel

The hostel is really nice and geared towards young people; it is beautifully decorated and easily accessible. The staff are incredibly friendly and ready to help.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of a proper mattress. What I slept on was anything but that—extremely hard and uncomfortable; I would wake up in the morning feeling tired and stiff.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent, including the location, cleanliness, facilities, and friendly staff. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel.

The kitchen could stay open longer so that guests can order hot dishes.

Breakfast was generous enough for the price. Cold-cut meat, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, a good selection of bread and pastries, and a coffee machine for making your own coffee or tea. The staff was helpful at all times. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfy, and although it was tight in a 4-bed dorm, it was a very pleasant stay. I did enjoy being close enough to the central station. After a short ferry ride (for free!) one could enjoy the vibe of the city. There was plenty to do directly around the hostel, too. What I liked was that the hostel was occupied by tourists of different ages, including families. It felt safe and welcoming, with a good vibe.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, actually. What I noticed was there were only stairs leading into the property. It would be very helpful to have a ramp to carry heavy luggage in and out, or to allow those with mobility issues to have easier access to the building.
