Viajero Quito Hostel

A beautiful property, with a delightful interior garden off the bar/restaurant that was a wonderful space for a relaxing evening nightcap after a day spent exploring Quito. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, with a beautiful, spacious shower and view of the garden. The location was ideal - just a short distance to amazing food, great views, museums, the metro, and in heart of the historic district. We booked a room that overlooked the garden, but be forewarned that the music is pumping well past midnight on the weekends, which thankfully wasn't much of an issue thanks to the earplugs provided in advance by the hostel.

The people who manned the front desk (in the morning) were hit and miss, and not terribly helpful when we asked for information about getting around Quito, seeming more upset that we had interrupted their phone call or music video than interested in supporting a traveling guest. That said, the person that checked us in was consistently helpful and cheerful every time we saw him.

Eau froide, douche indisponible dans notre chambre , nous avons dû nous doucher dans une salle de bains annexe peu confortable

Has real lockers. The building itself is not bad, has a bar and a restaurant.

Location is not great, Plaza Foch, Parque la Carolina, Parque Ejido are the good locations. This place unfortunately is not super safe. Staff forces you to speak English, very annoying. They are not very customer oriented and just speak Spanish amongst themselves. If you do not have a bottom bed it is very uncomfortable to climb up. No kitchen.
