Accommodation was very clean and well presented. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable living area.
The lovely outdoor pool was a great feature and got a lot of use. The grounds are very secure and private, including covered parking.
Unexpected surprise was the nearby Karting track! Also, the Faial Bathing Complex is within walking distance (but with ample parking too)
Owner representative was on site before the appointed time. Very friendly and helpful. Explained everything clearly.
Very little not to like, but a couple of small let-downs. There is no air-conditioning and with the upstairs bedrooms tending to trap heat, sleeping was difficult some nights. You'd be well advised to bring some fly/inspect repellent, otherwise expect some bites. Also, note that there is no upstairs toilet / bathroom.

Lovely house and garden, very clean. Nice welcome fruit basket. Lovely pool. Views of little waterfalls on the gorge. The bbq and covered eating area. The amazing coastline and scenery. Nice swimming area with facilities on Faial beach that you can walk to or easily park. We were very sad to leave.
Nothing about the house but the noise from the quarry was very loud sometimes and the go karts were a bit annoying. It wouldn’t put me off staying again though. Also we were hoping to walk to the nearest two restaurants but one was closed and the other only open in the daytime when we stayed.
