The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities one would expect. It is centrally located in Marazion which is a two edged sword. The scones jam and cream that awaited our arrival were a very nice touch. Our host was readily available and did his best to sort our issues Ideally located for St Michael’s Mount

The parking space for th e property is down a very narrow passage between unforgiving walls. There were two inches of clearance on either side of a Vauxhall Grandland. This is only suitable for quite a small car. The nearest street parking is a quarter of a mile walk up hill. On the first night the main circuit breaker tripped and again the following morning.An ele ctrician was summoned and could not find any reason.The consumer unit sticker indicates that it was installed in 2009 and has not been tested since (this is not a legal requirement but testing 5 yearly is best practice).Neither of the outside lights worked and returning to thecottage in the dark down an uneven passage was tricky.

We loved the cottage it looks small but it easily accommodated the 4 of us

Parking was a bit of a problem but nothing we couldn’t handle.

The location is perfect for the village, and the house had everything you'd need for a shortish stay (we were there for a week and that worked really well) - quite charming, nice traditional decor, and lovely main bedroom. All linen and towels were provided. Nice touch to have the owners leave a note and some fresh scones, jam and cream too

Some parts are a little tired, the outside are could do with a bit of a spruce up (new chairs etc), and the parking access is tight, but we knew about that in advance, and took a chance. We have quite a big car and just managed
