It is run by a family that makes you feel really appreciated. The owner drives us around some stores for free and took us to a really nice tea ceremony experience.
It is really close to the mutianyu gates so you could get there even by walking but he also offered to take us there and picking us up without charge.
Nothing really! It was a really nice and comforting place

Firstly, I was picked up from the airport by Yang’s dad and taken right to the hotel. It is nestled at the base of Mutianyu Great Wall so I was able to see that everyday!!! Loved the location. Yang took me to several attractions and helped me navigate tickets, etc. he was extremely pleasant to travel with, and a great conversationalist answering questions about the area, very informative! His mother was the cook supplying breakfast and supper and on the and occasion lunch if I happened to be at the hotel. The meals were amazing!! I took pictures of them all…. I can honestly say that this stay inclusive of the facilities and the hosts was AMAZING!!!❤️
It was a distance from Beijing, but that was the trade for being at the base of Mutianyu
