Narvik Hotel Wivel

The location is amazing and feels like staying in someone's home.

It was confusing how the beds are listed snd I thought my room had 1 single bed and one double bed. Then when we arrived there was only one double bed and it was awkward for my daughter and I. Then they staff got angry at me because I asked for two single beds and said I should have requested before but this wasn't clear at all.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic - we stayed in 8 hotels in Norway and this was the best breakfast. Restaurant is tucked away but is excellent. Location is very central and easy to find.

Parking was street parking which is free 6pm-7am but is chargeable afterwards. Nothing the hotel can do but you do need to be vigilant to avoid a parking fine. No lift can make moving luggage difficult for the less mobile.

Nous avons failli rater notre train. Nous avions demandé à la réception de nous commander un taxi, mais il n'est jamais venu et la réception ne nous a pas aidés ni rien proposé. Nous avons dû nous rendre à la gare à pied avec nos deux gros bagages, en marchant dans la neige et la glace. C'était très difficile car la route monte et nous glissions. Nous avions très peu de temps pour nous rendre à pied à la gare. Donc nous donnons une note de 0 pour le service car aucun membre du personnel de l'accueil ne s'est intéressé à notre situation, continuant de discuter entre elles. Nous prenions le train pour Stockholm afin de prendre notre avion que nous aurions pu rater...
