Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten im Zentrum mit prächtiger Aussicht, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war nicht exceptionell aber ganz gut. Das Zimmer war recht groß, auch das Bad, letzteres ohne Duschkabine, man spritzt alles voll. Betten OK.
Das "Schloss" war ein Kloster und das sieht man der Einrichtung auch an. Die Möbel sind sehr einfach und altmodisch, vieles erinnert an IKEA. Dafür ist der angeblich schon reduzierte Preis recht hoch angesetzt. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, das internet in der Nacht auch nicht. Personal war keines zu sehen, nur der Geschäftsführer tauchte beim Frühstück kurz auf, aber wir fanden uns auch so zurecht. Es schien auch keine weiteren Gäste zu geben.

Unique accomodation in a monastery.
Good breakfast. Perfect location in the heart of beautiful vine village of Gumpoldskirchen. Perfect short trips possible, very good traditional food within few steps. We stayed there with a grandchild and our dog. Walks possible along vineyards.

Quiet, peacefull area with vineyards around the castel. Amazing view from hotel room. The access to the historical castel by little stone bridge over the moat. We feel ancient time atmosphere being there. Beautifull courtyard, staircases and original decoration, furniture and paintings. Gumpoldkirchen is worth to stay not only as a stop during the trip. Excellent restaurant 2 mins walk. Parking facilities just by the castle entrance is an advantage.

perfect location, clean and big site rooms, nice staff but if was very cold especially over the night.
it was way too cold, what was not so nice with a 3 years old kid.
