Good location, very helpful and kind staff. Getrude delivered all the requests I had

Due to a road closure I had a little trouble finding the Inn in the labyrinth of alleyways that make up Stone Town but once there it is easy to navigate in and out to the main areas of interest. The room was basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay and the central location is a bonus. Staff were friendly and always willing to help.
WiFi was lost for most of a day but the owner offered to let me use her hotspot to check on my flight times etc.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and the location is ideally located in the middle of Stone Town - easy to walk to any of Stone Town's major sights
The area is quite loud at times, noise from the street carries a lot into the room. Also my room had an opaque window looking out into the hallway, so the hallway light always shone into the room. These things weren't issues for me personally, but it's not ideal for light sleepers!

The double room is very nice, well decorated, spacious. It feels nice and value for money.
the twin room felt like a hostel experience 2.0 - very narrow, no window. we didnt anticipate that we'd stay at the room much, so the basic twin setup was ok. but if I had to pick again, I'd book the double!
