The biggest advantage of this apartment is its location. It is very close to the port, Palermo Central Station and the historic Old Town, all of which are easily accessible. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafés just a stone’s throw away, so you really have everything you need within walking distance. One practical tip if you are arriving by train with luggage: although the Central Station is only about 1 km away, I would recommend taking a taxi rather than walking. The stone-paved streets can make dragging suitcases quite difficult and may be tough on your luggage wheels. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. The building is old but has an elevator, which is a big advantage when travelling with luggage, especially as the apartment is on the second floor. The marble throughout the building also keeps it remarkably cool — a very welcome relief when returning from Palermo’s summer heat. Our host, Mariela, was lovely and extremely helpful. She personally explained the house rules and the area, gave us useful guidance on buses and getting to the beach, and even offered to arrange a taxi to the airport. Her hospitality really added to the stay. The facilities are generally good, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean and neat, although the shower cubicle is a little cramped. These are relatively minor points. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would particularly recommend this apartment for its fantastic location, spacious rooms and wonderful host.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! L’appartement est superbe, très spacieux, parfaitement propre et très agréable. Le balcon est vraiment incroyable et apporte un vrai plus au logement. L’emplacement est également idéal : l’appartement se trouve dans une petite ruelle calme, tout en étant suffisamment passante pour que l’on se sente à l’aise en rentrant le soir. Tout est facilement accessible à pied. Enfin, Claudia est une hôte très accueillante, disponible et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons cet appartement sans hésiter !
