I like the location. The Oosterpark besides are a plus. It’s beautiful and transmit you calm. The chocolate muffin is amazing (literally).
The chaos. Inside the hostel you find too much noise everywhere. Loud music all the time. Crowded. Kids running, playing football and screaming on the aisle, and when I asked the reception they said “it’s not the silence time”. It’s annoying. This is only for teenagers and they should advise us before we book it. You find much more peace outside the hostel, in the park.

Hotel was nice, nice cafe facilities downstairs. Fairly quiet overall even though posters said there was a night club in the basement. Separate shower and toilet was a bonus.
Beds were comfy
Nice surroundings
Hand towel for hand washing or a paper dispenser would be good. We knew we had to rent towels for shower but assumed drying hands wouldn't be an issue.
Shower door leaked
Bed sheets were not fitted on bunkbeddwhich we found a bit odd, luckily we did this before we went into the city.
Had no where in the room to sit and chill together just in our beds.
Bit far out the city was 45min walk

Good location for east Amsterdam. Room was quiet.
Poor room facilities. No mugs (none -- not even a tooth-mug!!). No kettle. No fridge. 4 hangers only. And this was classed as a "superior twin room -- at over 200 euros per night. The hand-basin woiuld not drain away properly.
Only one coffee machine at the breakfast area, and this was repeatedly failing due to high usage.
