iRooms Central Station

The location and the extremely comfortable bed and pillows.

The bed frame was made of metal and had an industrial appearance.

Great location, super clean, communication with Jhonny was simple and easy. I would definitely recommend for an over nighter

The walls are super thin, so you can unfortunately hear everything.

Stayed in for one night at start of trip and one night before leaving room as it was convenient for the station. Room was comfortable for myself for a 1 night stay, was abit cramped when there was 2 of us. Room was clean and Johnny on reception was very friendly and helpful. Let me have the room early to put my bag in as i arrived early and the room was ready. Rooms are in a apartment block which I didn't realise when booking but this seems to be quite standard i have since discovered for Rome! if you dont like those old fashioned small elevators (like myself) then be warned! its alot of steps up to the rooms! Also I did find the check in process abit confusing as its all done digitally which i have never done before, I may be old fashioned but prefer to meet someone in person on reception rather than getting codes etc to get keys! that being said it was perfect for a budget hotel for a couple of nights for convenience! would recommend

The online check in process was abit confusing for me and I wasnt able to enter the building on arrival as didn't have a code. Luckily Johnny was there and let me in and obtained the keys for room for me from the box with code! I have an elevator fear so being so high up wasn't great for me!

Location near Colisseum Nice staff Air conditioning was good, which was a blessing in the middle of the heat wave.

Jacuzzi did not work well; when we tried it the smell was very very bad. This was very disappointing. No coffee machine in the room, quite annoying Room had old / non maintained parts , for instance the door to the toilet could not close. Lights of the room were programmed with a very tacky red colour and it was not easy to change them.
