Viva Tanzania

I came to Viva Tanzania after a 10 day safari, it was a lovely place to catch my breath (and to not be moving or in transit) for 2 days. I was also in recovery from a nasty cold so it was great to have the comfortable and quiet space to rest and recuperate. They offer a spa and massage, the swimming pool and the roof top bar, all were nice to enjoy even as a solo traveller. Everyone was welcoming and happy to assist if needed. AND it's nice that they are so conscientious about sustainability and of course they assist with volunteering programs so it was also nice to be able to buy some lovely things for souvenirs that also assisted programs empowering women and local communities.

I really like a hot shower and this didn't happen. The temperature in Arusha at the time was quite warm so I didn't ask anyone to fix it, also thought it seemed to be a temperature setting and maybe related to sustainability practises. BUT I didn't check so that's kinda on me ay?

The heater of the shower was installed directly on the shower. When I tried to adjust the water during the shower, I got electric shock which was so scary because I was entirely wet.

I am not the one who travelled. It was a friend called Mercy Nkatha. She complained that the rooms did not have T.V. She was required to cook for herself. There was no bathing shoes.

Nkatha complained about food. I am not the one who travelled. I booked the hotel for her.
