Little Hostel

The hostel is right in the middle of the city (aka shops and restaurants are directly nearby). Its also perfect for people who are doing the gibbon experience since its really close to their office where pickup and dropoff also happens. We booked the night after the tour in this hostel too and could leave our big bags there. The slowboat is perfectly accessible as well, since you can book it at the hostel which included a lunchbox, seats in the upper rows and a ride to the slow boat pier in the morning. So comfortable! The rooms are 4 beds (2 bunks) each and and very clean with everything you could need. But the best part is really the super nice and helpful host and her cute dog!

I was there the night before the slow boat: everything was pleasant and clean. The receptionist was exceptionally kind: gave advices for money change, sim, dinner, she even tought me some Laotian that came useful for the rest of the trip :) I did not do for the gibbon experience, but this hostel was clearly a valid reference point for everybody who was going!

The dorm was comfy and Amor was very helpful with booking the slow boat for us and packing us lunch.

The room didn’t have natural light coming in so it was harder to wake up.

L'hôtel est ok pour une nuit, mais il pourrait y avoir inclus dans le prix un petit déjeuner. L'hôtesse est aimable.
