Kloosterhotel de Soete Moeder

D'abord, le personnel, toujours souriant et prêt à rendre service. Cet hôtel a aussi une ambiance très particulière, tranquille et sereine, tout comme le magnifique jardin. Le lit était également très confortable. Tout près, il y a un très beau parc avec un grand étang, et le centre-ville est à une bonne dizaine de minutes à pied.

Pour une personne moins valide, ce n'est pas pratique de devoir grimper sur le bord de la fenêtre pour pouvoir l'ouvrir ... Sinon, rien de négatif!!

It was very cosy and the location was great. It was just ideal for our stay which was to attend the Solheim Cup. Their honesty bar was great. The hotel was quiet which is ideal if you want peace. You can enjoy drinks in their breakfast room which can be used throughout the day as you wish. There is a great wee outside area to the back if you want to enjoy but we didnt have great weather. My room was perfect size for what I needed. it was just myself in the room. Very clean and it was serviced each day. I have no complaints about the hotel and the staff are more than helpful and friendly.

I think this hotel is definitely only suitable if you do not plan to spend a lot of time in it. For example if you are attending an event in the area or plan to be out most of the day sight seeing as there is very little going on inside the hotel and not many facilities. There is no bar but just an self service honesty bar so it is very quiet and not much going on. However it is definitely perfect for sleeping in.

It’s position near to where our daughter lives.

We didn’t like the fact reception was closed a lot of the time. The room we were in (5) was not like the ones pictured on Booking.Com and felt more like a room you would find in a care home.
