The host, location and breakfasts were great.

The pictures on booking.com were not quite the same as our unit.

It wasn’t clear where we could park until we arrived. Garage parking is available with a cheap (. 2euro) shuttle bus to the accomodation - which we used when we left. It could have been clearer in the accomodation booking details - it would have made life easier and cheaper / it’s 6 euros to enter for an hour… walk drop off your bags / drive to the park and walk back circa 30mins - which could have been avoided. While there were chairs and umbrellas available in a tarmacs area - this also was used by van drivers dropping things off before 10am - which meant you had breakfast with vans going by and no view from the terrace area before 10am The room was functional but very small - (number 2 )

This was our 2nd visit in Piran, but I am pretty sure we will come back. And then, I will definitely book again in this apartment. The location is phantastic, in front of the house door is the sea, or if you want to get to the “regular” beach, you walk 50 meters to the other direction. In 50m circle there are at least 10 restaurants and bars. However, the apartment’s restaurant is also highly recommended, they serve delicius fish dishes.

The only difficulty was the parking, simple forget to try finding parking lots “for free”. There are two options, the cheaper is Arze, this is the further garage with quite limited number of places. First time I had to wait a half an hour for an empty place, second time I was more lucky. This garage cooperates with the apartment and gives discount if you pay directly in the apartment’. As it is 15 minutes walking distance away from the apartment, maybe better to drive in to the center (6 EUR/hr) take the luggage to the hotel and then drive back to the garage. The second option is Fornače, it costs 32 EUR per day, however they have a shuttle bus to Piran center, which makes the luggage transport to the hotel much easier.

- The room and bathroom were small for the cost - We had to check out before 9am (when breakfast starts) on our last day. No breakfast option or discount was offered for missing this. - Staff weren’t particularly friendly or helpful
