Location, breakfast, the building itself, the decorations were all excellent.

A beautiful room in a gorgeous historical building. The room and bathroom were huge and everything spotlessly clean and the host was so friendly and helpful.
Everything. Location perfect, staff perfect, accommodation perfect and breakfast delicious.

The best part of the property is the way the hotel has been crafted into and around the oldest building in the citadel.

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful.
This is a very old, very rustic property with only basic amenities at the base of the citadel. We can see the interest value in its quirky furnishings but found the hundreds of knick-knacks to be not good for hayfever, struggled with the poor lighting and lack of electrical outlets in the rooms (for example one outlet for the bedside lamp and the mobile air conditioner) and felt the difficult key lock entry and exit to the rooms to be potentially unsafe. No doubt some people would enjoy this property. We didn’t.

"Tout était bien, l’emplacement, les chambres très spacieuses et un excellent petit déjeuner. La réceptionniste était très souriante et sympathique"
