The room was simple but with a lot of space, the bed very comfortable. Everyone was very welcoming, especially to our little dog who was allowed in the dining room with us :-) The location was perfect for a short evening stroll, not far from the motorway but very quiet. The breakfast was à la carte and very good. The highlight however was the dinner, it was simply excellent - creative cooking prepared with ambition that was on point, we would come again just for the food alone!
The room was upstairs and had to be reached via two flights of fairly steep metal grate stairs on the outside of the building. I'm not doing well with heights and this was a bit challenging. Luckily it didn't rain as we had quite a lot of luggage to haul. Our small dog could be carried upstairs, but for a larger dog that can't be carried the metal grate surface of the stairs might be difficult to climb up on
