This was our third visit to this super property.
Pia is a charming host and as always made us feel extremely welcome, it was like revisiting a friend.
The decor and beds are a little quirky, but it’s obvious that a huge amount of interior design has gone into the building.
Kandern is a lovely town and directly opposite the property is a footpath that takes you directly to the town in roughly five minutes.
There are two supermarkets, Penny about a five minute walk and Heiber which is a little more upmarket and well stocked.
We used Kandern as a base as it’s close to both the Swiss and German borders, so you can easily visit three countries in one day!
As this was a 10 visit a little guidance on the disposal of recycling would have been helpful and also a change of towels and bedding. These are only minor issues which didn’t detract from a wonderful stay.

Easy to get around to local area.
Would love some condiments, soap at the dish sink with a sponge, and laundry soap.
