Convenient for public transport. Bathroom was modern and nice.

Did get very loud on a Friday and Saturday night, but it is a pub.

We only had dinner one night and it was very nice. They did not serve breakfast during the week only weekends.

The bed was very uncomfortable.

Super friendly staff. The room was large and exactly what we needed for our stay. Lots of food options around and supermarkets close by. Parking was easy to access.

There was a lovely lady working in the restaurant who was so chatty and polite and was very helpful. Another girl behind the bar in the function was very helpful and friendly. The function we attended was lovely, decorated beautifully, very aesthetically pleasing.

The bed was awful, so many springs in the bed sadly. We also weren’t told about the fobs on our keys (which we later realised) we needed to get in and out the property when first/last thing of the day. For us, we were travelling with a toddler and were part of a function that was going on. When we put our daughter to bed, the bar below must’ve had an open mic night and the noise was horrendous, loud enough to wake the dead, my husband asked for the doors to be closed as i was up with my daughter trying to get her to fall asleep to which he wasn’t met with a very pleasant or helpful response, just a kind of shrug and the girl closed the doors. He later told me the doors kept being left open so not that helpful. I’m struggling to understand that when rooms are literally just up the top of the stairs, how guests can sleep with the amount of noise that’s generated from the bar area. As I say, there was a function going on so did expect a bit of noise but a lot of the singing wasn’t coming from the function as I asked my husband if the song stand by me was on and he said no it had been the bar area.
