Lovely short stay

We moved to Cambridge House. Really clean and lovely. Everything you could need was given.

Some small structural/decor issues but did not impact our stay. No long length mirror in the front bedroom.

Great property.

Hastings House is central to the area with shops just down the block. The house was great.

Remember to bring an a travel adapter with a step down converter for curling irons. Standard adapter will not work with common appliances. Left my hat and no one told me.

Not as the pictures and description say

The location was great and security of the property

I have pictures to support the he claims I make. The sink hadn’t been cleaned Stains all over the sink from days, the whole house was very dusty my baby has a dust allergy as I discussed with the host before arrival and was assured it’s all cleaned etc then my baby had a rash from the dust , found a cigarette under the sofa my baby could have eaten that whilst playing! Staines on the bedside draw with wrapper beside the draw (house hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived by the looks of it) blinds weren’t working. Hair dyer was not working, iron had a burn stain so stained our cloths! However the host was good offered to send a cleaner however we didn’t want the cleaner to come into the property whilst we was not there and I was not willing to wait around as we was there for 3 nights and had things to do. Also when we left the host deducted £50 as a gesture of good will they said for the cleaning fee which I was completely unhappy about because it should have been cleaned regardless and what about all the other complaints the cigarette etc. I didn’t want to write this review however booking.com sent me 3 reminders to write the review.
