We had breakfast and dinner. The food was exceptional, fresh, homemade and local where possible.
The room contained everything we needed. My husband did a repair and used the comprehensive sewing kit provided
We liked the bottle of real milk in the fridge instead of plastic waste UHT milk in small cartons
It is unfortunate that there is no lift .This nearly put us of coming with my elderly mother but there were very good handrails on the stairs

The choice and quality of food at breakfast was wonderful.
Nothing we can think of.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cooked breakfast was excellent with good portions! The rooms were quiet and towels changed each day. The shower was powerful and good.
The weather had cooled down after a heatwave, but the small double room was still hot despite having two fans. The glasses in the room looked "grubby" and the overall feel was that the room was not as clean as it could have been. The skirting board in the bathroom was particularly dirty. We had two single fruit gin and tonics, and some peanuts in a bowl each and the price we thought was a bit much at £25.50
