We arrived as strangers but left as friends. Our hosts Gunner and Annette were so welcoming, and joyous, and totally made our stay. We had the Bond room...top floor with terrace and overlooked the garden at the back, so also very peaceful, and very spacious. Great location just a one min walk to Au sration, and less than 10mn walk to a lakeside beach. Anette's morning breakfast is something else, a smogasbord of delights; cheese, charcuterie, fruits, yoghurt, cerrals and eggs, true fuel for a day of exploration. No 1 truly lived up to its name. Amazing place!

We booked this place because we were in town for a wedding and it was one of the few options still available. We had no idea what we were walking into. Every room is a piece of art. You can tell that every single detail has been handpicked and thought about, and the style is honestly incredible. The photos online do not do it justice at all. We stayed in the rooms called LOFT and Monsoon and it was such a unique, beautiful space. Spacious, and it had everything we could possibly have wanted. We arrived on the first of August when it was seriously hot outside, and the room stayed cool the entire time, which was a small miracle. The owners are the loveliest people you could hope to meet. They made us breakfast, took the time to chat with us, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Arne at reception was fantastic too. You can see that these people do this with a huge amount of love and it shows in everything. Cleanliness was perfect. The location is right by the train station, close to everything you might need, and just a short walk from the lake. We came for a wedding, but we will absolutely be coming back just for the hotel itself. The rooms and the hospitality alone are worth the trip.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
