Apparemment très spacieux. Nous avions la grande suite d’en haut avec un très bon lit. Nous pouvions profiter du grand salon confortable (vu sur la photo)et de la cuisine très bien équipé dont nous avons été les seuls à nous servir. Notre hôtesse très agréable et serviable parlant bien le Français. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture dans la propriété parce qu’il n’y avait plus de place dans la rue.

Il manquait un sèche cheveux dans l’appartement. Si non tout était parfait

Large room, comfortable bed, overlooked the pool and gardens. Saw a great sunrise right from our balcony.

No one really spoke English , but we did communicate in my broken French and used Google Translate. Easy to uber to and from city center.

A beautiful, charming old house with traditional Portuguese blue tiles and a lovely garden with a small swimming pool and nice views. The room and common areas (living room and kitchen) look just like the pictures. Paola, the hostess, is very kind, attentive and understanding. There is also a bell to call someone whenever you need assistance. The location is away from the town centre, but this was not a major issue: bus M09 runs during the day, and an Uber costs around €4.

I had a severe dust mite allergy reaction on my first night. I reported it the following morning, and the staff cleaned my room more thoroughly and apologised. The second night I could sleep without problems or a mask. However, I had to specifically ask them to clean the bedspread, sheets and pillows. Basic cleanliness should not depend on guests disclosing medical conditions. Although the room improved considerably, the carpeted hallways and living room, with their rugs, throws and sofas, continued to trigger my respiratory symptoms. If you have a dust mite allergy, I strongly recommend contacting the very understanding hostess beforehand. I also believe the regular cleaning routine needs improvement. The walls between rooms are very thin, so you can hear almost everything. Fortunately, the other guests respected the 10 pm quiet hours and I had no problems sleeping. The pillows were far too thin and uncomfortable, and the bed itself was not particularly comfortable either.
