We had a great stay at casa da Maria Alfama. The apartment was cosy, quiet and super clean. Jose was very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.

Fabulous location and great little apartment (I was in the ground floor studio without a balcony but that didn’t matter at all). Perfect for one person.
The bathroom had nowhere to keep toiletry bag and the kitchen coffee machine was provided but only with 2 pods for a four night stay which meant it wasn’t used and just took up vital kitchen space. None of this mattered though as I was on my own and was able to use the breakfast table for my toiletries and move the coffee machine. It was a great little place and highly recommended.

The location was so close to so many attractions including the central shopping area.

very central
location for the old town, walking distance to many places of interest
the studio it’s really very small (very narrow) and does not have air conditioning because of the rules in the historical centre (my mistake, I didn’t spot this at the time of booking.
