very cosy cottage, wifi very good. Great location 15 min walk to Keswick. Farmers Inn, very friendly and food very good. If needed bus stop on main road.
Ideal cottage for a base to take advantage of the lake district, good walks very close to Portinscale, we had a lovely 4 night stay, would stay again. Keswick has everything you would expect and need.
Kitchen bin lid was broken.
I do like a cold shower, but couldn't, shower was good but not able to cool it down, not a complain just me.

Great parking, excellent location only 20 mins walk to Keswick. Beds were the comfiest ever!!! Great nights sleeps which was fantastic, shower was powerful
Be aware ceilings are very low upstairs as it is an old property, over 6ft would be a problem. As the shower is over the bath you have to crouch to wash your hair unless you take the shower head off the hook

Great location and a really lovely cottage. Plenty of room for 4 of us and a dog. Well equipped and clean. Very comfortable and we really enjoyed staying here.
A few bits in the bathroom:
The shower is difficult to use without stooping for anyone over 5ft 5!
The temperature wasn't easy to make cooler.
The shower curtain is too big for the bath.
The sink plug didn't work.

Nice an cosy, decent kitchen, wifi etc. Parking right outside the cottage.
Not too much to mention really on the negtive side of our stay. However, the main Teflon pan was scratched up pretty badly, not safe for use when Teflon is scratched.
