JEN Beijing by Shangri-La

We chose Hotel Jen Beijing for an anniversary staycation and could not have been made to feel more special. Even before we arrived, communication with the hotel through Booking.com was easy, friendly and incredibly helpful. When we checked in, we were immediately congratulated on our anniversary, told that we had been given a room upgrade, and offered a complimentary bottle of red or white wine. Check-in itself was efficient, warm and welcoming. We were taken up to our room on the 21st floor and, when the door opened, we were genuinely blown away. The huge curved floor-to-ceiling window framed one of the best city views imaginable, with the CCTV Tower front and centre. Absolutely spectacular. The room itself was beautifully appointed, with a bath that also looked directly towards the CCTV Tower, a separate shower, and everything you could possibly want from a luxury hotel stay. To make our anniversary even more special, the hotel had placed a single rose on the bed and left us a lovely Happy Anniversary cake. What really stood out throughout our stay, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, thoughtful and flexible, with a genuine smile and a wonderful can-do attitude. Breakfast was another highlight. We were shown to a lovely table, brought steaming hot frothy coffee, and then left to enjoy the enormous buffet at our own pace. The choice was fantastic, everything was plentiful, and there really seemed to be something for everyone. A friend had also told us that the pool and gym at Hotel Jen are among the best in Beijing, so they are next on our list to explore! A truly memorable anniversary staycation at a fantastic hotel. Superb location, spectacular views, excellent facilities and, most importantly, genuinely lovely people. We will definitely be back.

Hôtel bien placé à 5 min d’une station de métro (prendre la sortie E de la ligne 10) le centre commercial moderne et le petit déjeuner très bien fournis et pour tous les goûts.

Je suis probablement le seul dans ce cas mais pour moi la salle de sport n’est pas ce que je souhaite lorsque je séjourne dans un hôtel de de type ( je précise que la salle n’est pas à l’hôtel mais nous y avons accès pas invitation car celle ci est indépendante) donc partager mon espace détente avec des abonnés journalier c’est vraiment moins bien que le confort d’une salle privée .
