Location and place excellent, comfortable and quiet.
Booking.com didn’t specify which apartment we had booked and didn’t send us the entry code. So we had a good 30 minute outside the appointment trying to convince the staff to let us in.

The ground-floor apartment is part of a very old house that sits within the fortress walls of Óbidos, amongst its white-washed neighbours, cobbled streets, and small colourful gardens.
We found the bed comfortable and the shower hot. The kitchen area is small but has everything that you need to self-cater, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in and around the town.
We found the air in the apartment a bit damp, although there was no obvious problem with leaking water or mold.
I think it was a function of the building being very old and built of stone. There was a dehumidifier provided which helped a lot. However, this may be a problem for anyone with respiratory issues.
